Mr Lim is amazing! I honestly could not thank him enough I have been under Mr Lims care for some time for endometriosis. He is very friendly, patient, caring and professional. I have seen a few consultants for my endometriosis over the years and no one compares to Mr Lim. At each appointment he always has a plan of other things we could try to manage the symptoms if the prior has not worked. I recently just had a hysterectomy performed by Mr Lim, this is a big operation but I felt totally reassured and less anxious knowing that he was doing this operation. There was no problems and I am making a good recovery through out the morning of the operation Mr Lim came to see me to explain again what he was going to be doing. I felt informed at all times.

The appointment with Mr Lim was fantastic. He listened to all of my issues and was able to educate me more in 30 mins about the ins and outs of HRT, than the hours of previous research I'd done and other expert advice I'd been given. He was very clear, calm and had a great understanding of his speciality. I wouldn't hesitate to see him again in the future for any other issues.

I am truly grateful to Mr Lim for getting to the bottom of my issues . I recently had a full hysterectomy with him at one Hatfield and I can’t recommend him highly enough .
His knowledge and ability in his field are second to none . It’s such ashame we can’t clone him as all women deserve this level of treatment .

Mr C P Lim is a consultant gynaecologist at the East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. He was one of a handful of gynaecologists in the country who accomplished the Advanced Laparoscopy Training certified by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and he leads the specialist endometriosis service at Lister Hospital. He has published widely in the field of minimal access surgery and remains an active member of the training subcommittee for the British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy. He regularly trains general gynaecologists at surgical courses nationally as faculty member.
In addition to general gynaecology, Mr Lim subspecialises in Endometriosis and Benign Gynaecology. He believes that just because women have the condition, it doesn’t mean they have to suffer with it. This also means he is an expert in hormone medication use including contraceptives and HRT. He offers a tailored approach to the treatment of his patients depending on their circumstances.
